What is Lenticular Printing?

Lenticular printing consists of a plastic sheet with an array of optical elements called lenticules moulded into one side and a coated surface on the other. An interlaced image consisting of 2 or more images can then be printed directly on to the back of the Lenticuar sheet or a printed image can be bonded to the back of the sheet.

The job of the Lenticular lens is to focus light on the print from different viewing angles, thus when the user views the image from these different angles they are effectively viewing different images. This technology is used to create Lenticular images including 3D lenticular images.
