As many of you already know the latest big 3D movie to hit our video stores in Australia is Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D. This 3D movie was released in the first week of April 2009 and will mark the beginning of a new wave of 3D movies to be released this year. Here at Oz 3D Optics we are very excited of what's to come in 2009. With the quality and production of 3D releases greatly improved, many major production companies are jumping on board to ride the 3D wave. This will offer viewers a much more comfortable, exhilarating and entertaining experience.
My Bloody Valentine 3D will be released on DVD and Blueray around Australia on the 17 June 2009. This Horror / Drama has been rated (R) due to the graphic violence in the film. As for the quality of the 3D in the film I would have to say that it is nothing short of very will done. Some 3D movies are little over done at times and can cause some eye strain, but My Bloody Valentine 3D is not one of those movies. I personally am not a horror movie fan, but thoroughly enjoyed this movie. The darker scenes and colours will benefit the movie when it come to viewing it at home with anaglyph 3D glasses.
